I'm Karen, a creative designer with a passion for storytelling and a love for exploring the world through design. I'm thrilled to share my design journey with you, which has been shaped by my global work experience, travels, and diverse cultural background.

I graduated from the College of Fine Arts at the University of New South Wales in Australia, where I honed my skills and developed a keen eye for design. Born in Hong Kong, raised in Australia and studied in Japan, has given me a unique perspective, bridging both Asian and Western cultures. This cultural fusion has been instrumental in understanding and embracing design aesthetics across various Asia Pacific markets, allowing me to create designs that resonate with diverse audiences.
As my career progressed, I ventured into the realm of digital design creating marketing collaterals that merged traditional and digital mediums. From print to digital, photography art direction to product styling, branding to advertising design, I've had the opportunity to explore a colourful spectrum of design possibilities within in-house team and agency environments. Additionally, I enjoy the thrill of pitching new ideas to clients, pushing boundaries, and bringing innovative concepts to life.

My latest creative challenge and work was operating as a senior graphic designer within the healthcare sector. This experience further honed my skills, delivering visually engaging designs for health service and product related subject matter. It's been a rewarding journey to contribute to the digital agency's growth and impact through thoughtful and impactful design solutions.
Beyond my professional endeavours, I'm an avid adventurer, constantly seeking inspiration from my travels. Perhaps it was my work with travel and lifestyle magazines that ignited my passion for exploring the world. From camping under the stars in the Sahara Desert to trekking the Mount Everest base camp trail, I've had the privilege of experiencing breathtaking moments that have shaped my perspective and infused my designs with a sense of wonder and discovery. Exploring everyday life with fresh eyes is how I stay motivated and inspired, constantly pushing the boundaries of creativity.
